I just love to be surrounded by books. When we are told that we're required to go to the book fair I felt giddy and excited.
The book fair meant to me as going through the past, present and the future. Walking along shelves and toward the books we have read, smiling as we reminisce the stories we have known through those books.
I saw my favorite books and authors and I realized wow! madami-dami na din pala akong nabasa
I also got the chance to say hello again to the books that made me partly hate reading.
as expected... the book fair is not complete without NBS
my eyes sparkled as I saw this
and then the books in my bucket list
And then I remember my childhood. I'm so close to books because I grew up with them. From short stories to 3D books of dinosaurs to Lampara books and the new adventures of mary kate & ashley when I was a kid. And I remembered my little sister. So instead of me getting a book for myself I bought a lampara book for my sister as well and when I got home we read it together.
So I think the book fair is not just only for adults but also for children.
